Independent Wire Transfer

Western Union is an individual body, and not associated with any monetary body i.e. bank. If you choose to transfer or receive money via Western Union, you are not required to own a bank or Western Union account.

Wire transfer instructions are sent into a central system, and the recipient can collect the funds at a Western Union office in his or her area. Western Union transfers can also be initiated online.
